The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards

Encouraging entrepreneurs who are creating opportunities in the North West, North Wales, Shropshire and the Wolverhampton area.

The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards were established in 2007 and are designed to encourage entrepreneurship in the North West and North Wales - whether in new businesses, young entrepreneurs, social enterprises or charities. 

In 2008 the Awards were extended to the Wolverhampton area. This year an extra category was added to strengthen the Morgan Foundation's emphasis on charitable aims. Over and above the £100,000 of cash prizes, the winners and runners up also receive valuable professional services from the sponsors and supporters of the Awards.

An independent panel of experts judged all the entries in the 2009 Awards and chose the finalists. They then presented to a panel of judges on 8th and 9th October at Carden Park Hotel near Chester and the winners were announced at the Gala Awards Night on Thursday 19th November.
