The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards

The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards were established in 2007 as part of a five year programme to recognise and support entrepreneurial spirit in fledgling businesses, young entrepreneurs, in the third sector and in individuals who have achieved against the odds. Due to its huge success, the programme was extended until 2012. The trustees of the Morgan Foundation have decided, however, that due in the main to the increase in demand for funds for charitable causes, the Awards programme is to finish. The 2012 Awards were the best to date and they feel it appropriate to leave on a high note.

Since 2007 several thousand applicants entered, some 245 finalists were interviewed; over £600,000 of cash prizes, mentoring and business support were provided to 140 winners and runners-up. Support and networking is on going amongst a family of Morgan Foundation Entrepreneurs and the World Merit* programme.
